International Circulation: Can you tell me what is new in Europe and perhaps other places regarding cardiovascular risk factors and how patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD)?

Professor Zamarano:  The main topic of this year’s Congress is prevention.  One of the reasons is that we do believe that prevention of CVD is crucial for improving the prognosis of our patients.  In fact， we know that CVD is one of the major causes of death worldwide.  How to improve that is certainly in prevention.  Therefore prevention is really a big topic in this year’s Congress.
